FAQs

How do I drop my car off for service?
Our regular hours are 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. We encourage you to use our key drop at the front door after hours and on weekends to avoid rush hour traffic. If you already have an appointment, simply drop your key in the marked lock box at the front door and we’ll take it from there. If you don’t have an appointment, please leave us a brief note and phone numbers and we will contact you the next business morning.

What if I need to have my car towed to Auto Gallery?
Our preferred towing company is CTS Towing. Their phone number is 859-278-9999. They know where we are, and exactly what to do with your car and keys. There is no need for you to come with the car. Simply call us (859-231-6420) or leave a message on our answering machine.

Do I need an appointment?
To ensure your same day service and satisfaction, we do work by appointment. We do, however, welcome any emergencies or tow-ins at anytime.

Do you have a shuttle service?
We do not offer an area-wide shuttle service at this time, but are more than happy to take you to our preferred rental agency, which is 5 minutes away.

Do you have rental cars?
We have a relationship with Hertz and offer preferred pricing to our service customers for as little as $28 a day. Hertz can bring your rental to our shop, and, for your convenience, you can leave your rental with us for pick up when your car is ready. There is no need to travel back and forth to the rental agency. Some of our larger services i.e. timing belt replacement, may include a day’s free rental. Please ask your advisor.

What if I can’t pick up my car before you close?
We can and frequently do handle payment arrangements over the phone so you can pick up your car when it is convenient to you.

Can I wait while you service my car?
You are welcome to use our waiting room for some small services. The waiting room is equipped with satellite television, high-speed wireless internet connection, complimentary soft drinks, and snacks.

Can you perform authorized dealer warranty or recall work?
As an independent service facility, we are in no way affiliated with Volkswagen® or Audi® of America; therefore, factory warranty work or recalls must be performed by the franchised dealer.

Do you accept aftermarket extended service contracts or after-market warranties?
Yes, we work with all the major warranty providers and can handle the entire process for you.

What kind of warranty do you offer on your parts and services?
Many independent repair shops give a 90-day or 3,000 mile warranty on their parts and services. The franchised dealerships usually give a 12-month or 12000 mile warranty on their parts and labor. We are proud to provide a full 15 months or 15,000 miles on most parts and labor installed and provided by us. Some wear items are excluded. Over-the-counter parts sales not installed by us are limited to the manufacturers original warranty.

Why do you only work on Audi® and Volkswagen® vehicles?
By limiting the number of brands we work on, we are able to assure you that we will have the special tools and parts required to repair or service your car in the least amount of time possible. We strive to maintain all commonly used maintenance and repair parts for all Audi® and VW® models from 1992 on as well as the special tools needed to install them. This simply would be impossible if we worked on all makes of cars.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, debit cards, Visa or Mastercard credit cards.
